Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Fantastic meal at the end of a long day. Recommend making a reservation if you are able to, looks like they can get quite busy. I don't speak Italian but was kindly accommodated in English with no fuss, it was much appreciated! We had polenta with baccala, stuffed olives, pizza and salad. Would recommend all!"
"Shhhh its a secret. My wife and I escaped the tourists here. Wonderful little spot with delicious food and great service. Tutul was our server and he was polite, clear and attentive. His service was some of the best we had on our 2 week European trip. The food was fresh and tasty. Pizza back home won't be the same after this experience. Can't wait to go back in the future."
"Lovely little pizzeria with excellent pizzas and special polenta, fastest service in Venice, modest prices, polite and helpful staff. It turned to be our favorite place either for a quick pizza-break from the daily Biennale visit or for dinner, since we stayed nearby. We feel lucky having discovered this cozy place in the less tourist area in Venice."
"Such a nice place for a quick stop for a coffee! One sits under the trees and enjoys the scenery and the quiet! Hard to believe one is in Venice. And the service here is unbeatable! So quick! Just great!"
"A cute restaurant away from the crowded tourist zone. The waitress is very nice and makes great recommendations! We had some excellent pizzas A walk after meal in this peaceful area is also a highlight. Highly recommend. Would like to come back trying more :)"
"This place is open as bar from 7:45 to 21:00. The kitchen works from 12:00 to 13:45 and 19 to 21. Otherwise the Google reviews are spot on, the foods just awesome, first time my little one did eat a whole pizza including the cheese :-) and all. On top, price is made to open a swabians heart, and all world know we do beat Scottish folks easily in being greedy, hands down. The service regarding children and handicapped is top notch, no other place we've been to in Venice did offer a child seat without us asking for it. Here they did. We also have been late for our table, we called it in, but got delayed for handicapped reasons again. No issue. Service is friendly and fast. Location, well there is not much to choose se from if you wish to sit in the green. They got it. Also there are playgrounds near by, but don't mind the noise, it's fare enough away your child won't run of, and if you don't have one, you won't hear the playground noise. How ever it's awesome to power out the small guys before going to lunch or dinner."
"Some of the best pizza in Italy. We ordered 4 types. My favorite was diavola. Very affordable prices. Definetely would recommend."
"Stopped by for lunch and it was perfect. The outside seating is in a casual park-like setting. Our food— margarita pizza and mushroom polenta with side salads, was tasty, in generous portions and at a good price."
